VEGÉRA draws its name from the Greek word βεγγÎρα (vegera), referring to the age-old tradition of casual evening visits and social gatherings among family, friends and neighbours. As the sun set, people would gather in village courtyards to share stories, meals, music, and laughter, celebrating not only the end of the workday, but the joy of simply being together. These gatherings were more than social events; they were expressions of community, hospitality, and the passing down of tradition from one generation to the next
